The weather in Malta in April is perfect for exploring the islands and sightseeing, since it will not be that hot.
Similar to March, April is usually a bit warmer and there’s less chances of rain.
Spring (together with Autumn) is the best time to visit the Maltese islands. That’s if you’re not solely after a beach vacation. Malta weather in April is pleasantly warm so it’s lovely to just walk around the island’s major sights and places of interest, such as Valletta and Mdina.
On bright sunny days, you can also head to the beach for a little bit of sunbathing.
At this time of year, beaches are uncrowded and it could very well be that you end up having the beach to yourself!
The sea is usually fairly cold to swim in though.
Still that doesn’t seem to hamper some visitors from taking a quick dip into the crystal clear blue waters.
