Pope Benedict XVI Visit – 17th and 18th of April 2010
HH Pope Benecit XVI will be visiting the Maltese islands on the 17th and 18th of April. It is planned that the Pope visits various locations on the islands, making his visit a much anticipated event for the Maltese people.

Strawberry Feast at Mgarr – 25th of April 2010
Yes you read right … a strawberry feast! If you love strawberries than you don’t want to miss this extraordinary event.
The tiny village of Mgarr in Malta is famous for the unique taste of its strawberries and what better way to showcase this then to dedicate a whole day to all things relating to strawberries!
Freshly picked strawberries are in abundance throughout this special day, together with an extensive list of other products ALL made with strawberries ranging from cakes, smoothies, milk shakes, ice cream, pancakes, strawberry wine and more.
Couple this with folk music entertainment and a great family day out is guaranteed!
This event called Festa Frawli in Maltese, is organized exclusively by volunteers from the village of Mgarr and is a non-commercial event with the sole purpose of promoting Mgarr products.
