Details to follow … For more information, contact the Cospicua Local Council on Tel 21 663030 or email bormla.lc@gov.mt In Guardia - 3, 10, 17 and 24 of October 2010 The In Guardia Parade is a historical re-enactment portraying historical events that used to took place at Fort St. Elmo. What you can expect to see: some 70 re-enactors dressed in impressive uniforms from the Knights of St John period, re-enacting interesting events. Starts at 11.00am (some 40 minutes long). In Guardia is held periodically at Fort St. Elmo - Valletta. Tickets at the gate (Adults: Euro 5 Children and Students: Euro 3). Malta Military Tattoo at the MFCC in Ta’ Qali – 9th and 10th of October 2010 A very popular and successful event, the Malta Military Tattoo is now in its 7th edition. This year’s show promises to be the biggest ever, with gymnastic displays, good music and precision marching of course. For more information, visit www.maltamilitarytattoo.org A Night in Casal Fornaro – 16th of October 2010 Most famous for its delicious Maltese bread, the village of Qormi will host this fun and interesting family event on the 16th of October. Qormi has some 50 bakeries and the homely smell of baking is practically everywhere. This is your chance to savor the famous traditional Maltese bread in an evocative setting. All food being served at this event is home prepared! On the day, there will also be art exhibitions, dancing and entertainment. You’ll also get a chance to watch how bread is made in traditional bakeries. This yummy festival starts at 7.00pm and has many events all centred around the theme of chocolate of course :) A fun family event with lots of musical performances, chocolate tastings, stuff for kids and much more. The highlight of this Chocolate Festival in Hamrun, will be Grand Master Perellos’ parade through the streets where the Grand Master will taste the original chocolate drink of his era (i.e. the Knights of St John era).
