Whats On in Malta in October 2011

Cospicua Bastions Festival – 1st and 2nd of October 2011

An interesting event for locals and visitors alike.

Mqabba Through the Ages - 7th of October 2011

A cultural and historical event in Mqabba.

In Guardia - 2, 9, 23 and 30th of October 2011

The In Guardia Parade is a historical re-enactment portraying historical events that used to took place at Fort St. Elmo. What you can expect to see: some 70 re-enactors dressed in impressive uniforms from the Knights of St John period, re-enacting interesting events. Starts at 11.00am (some 40 minutes long).

In Guardia is held periodically at Fort St. Elmo - Valletta. Tickets at the gate (Adults: Euro 5 Children and Students: Euro 3).

BirguFest – 7th, 8th and 9th of October 2011

A fantastic festival organized in the beautiful fortified city of Birgu (or Vittoriosa, as it's also known).

Wander around medieval narrow streets by candle light! Learn more about the city's history, gaze in awe at its many gorgeous churches and much more!

Malta Military Tattoo at the MFCC in Ta’ Qali – 8th and 9th of October 2011

A very popular and successful event, the Malta Military Tattoo is now in its 8th edition.

This year’s show promises to be the biggest ever, with gymnastic displays, good music and precision marching of course.

Chocolate Festival, Hamrun – 29th of October 2011

Yes you read right … a chocolate festival!

This yummy festival has many events all centred around the theme of chocolate of course :)

A fun family event with lots of musical performances, chocolate tastings, stuff for kids and much more.
