Whats On in Malta in November 2011

Whats On in Malta in November 2011

In Guardia - 6th and 13th of November 2011

The In Guardia Parade is a historical re-enactment portraying historical events that used to took place at Fort St. Elmo. What you can expect to see: some 70 re-enactors dressed in impressive uniforms from the Knights of St John period, re-enacting interesting events. Starts at 11.00am (some 40 minutes long).

In Guardia is held periodically at Fort St. Elmo - Valletta. Tickets at the gate (Adults: Euro 5 Children and Students: Euro 3).

Alarme Re-Enactments in Fort St Elmo in Valletta – 20th of November 2011

This re-enactment tells the story of when the French troops landed in Malta and the subsequent turbulent times that the Maltese people went through during Napoleon’s time.

The re-enactment lasts for 50 minutes. The entrance fee for adults is Euro 7 while children and students’ fee is Euro 3.

Evening Serenade - 18th of November 2011 in Valletta

Evening Serenade is an evening of light classical and Neapoletan songs featuring both local and foreign artists. The night's highlight will be top soprano Valerie Watts from England.

All proceeds from this show are going to be donated to PUTTINU CARES (A local non-profit organization that raises funds for travel and accommodation of kids who have to travel to the UK for treatment of serious, life threatening illnesses.)

Venue: Casino Maltese - Valletta

Date: 18th November at 7.30pm

Tickets: 15 Euros

Malta International Challenge Marathon: From the 25th till the 27th of November 2011

This is a thrilling 3 day event which has participants race through various towns and villages in Malta.
