Our favourite beach in Malta

First off I'd like to thank you for the great tips and advice you gave us, especially for highlighting the top attractions to visit in Malta, seeing that we only had 5 days to spare.

We stayed in a hotel in Mellieha which we absolutely loved! The hotel was right next to Mellieha bay, which became our favourite beach in Malta! It's beautiful. Every morning, my husband and I would literally jump out of bed and go for a walk on the beach. It's so quiet and lovely. My husband even went for a swim once! I kind of chickened out seeing that it was November.

We ended up hiring a car to try to fit in as much as possible as regards to sight seeing, but in hindsight perhaps we could have easily managed with public transport.

We had FANTASTIC weather - it was unbelievable! Sunny and warm the whole time. It's now been 2 days since we got back to England and we're already missing Malta!

I just wanted to thank you again for all your help in our holiday planning and also share our story with your readers. We really did have a fantastic time in Malta.

I'm glad we were able to help you with the holiday planning. Sometimes, when you only have a few days, it can be really hard to decide which places to visit and which ones to leave out.

It's great to hear that you had a fantastic time in Malta :) You have been really lucky with the weather. It's been sunny all week! Today it started a bit cloudy but cleared up later on.

You're right - Mellieha Bay is beautiful, especially when it's not too crowded. It's a totally different story in summer though. Still it's one of the most beautiful beaches on the Maltese islands.
