The mysterious Maltese islands: crack the code here :)
OK, there’s no real code to crack :) …. but for people who have never heard of the Maltese islands, these islands in the middle of the Mediterranean can be a bit baffling.
Maybe you’re still undecided on whether you should spend your holidays in Malta. Or you wish you knew someone local to get genuine advice on how you should spend your time in Malta so as to make the best of your holiday.
Well, this is why the ASK MARICA section was created.
Before I go any further, let me just introduce myself briefly. A bit of an informal message from the founder if you like :)
My name is Marica and I absolutely love traveling. The idea of this website came about following a trip to Dublin.
Although you can ask for brochures from Tourist Information Offices, browse the Internet for travel related information, and maybe join forums from the country that you intend to visit, nothing in my opinion, beats the insider knowledge that a local has on his or her own country. I only wished I knew someone local before I visited Dublin. True I got to see most of Dublin’s sites, but when I started talking to some Dubliners, I immediately realized that had I known about some of the stuff that they told me about before, I would have planned my trip so much differently.
Because how many times have you been to a site or museum and left disappointed because the things you’ve read about it were just false hype?
This is why I’ve created maltabulb.com. I’ve been living in Malta all my life (minus the times that I’m globe trotting across the world) and I hope to shed a light (hence the name maltabulb) on the “real” Malta. Not just the Malta you see on brochures and advertisements.
I wanted to show the Maltese people's way of life and much more ...
