Malta Beaches: Paradise Bay
One of the tiniest and most beautiful beaches in Malta!
It’s no secret that the most beautiful Malta beaches are found in the northern part of Malta.
And Paradise Bay is one fine example.
What else can you expect with such a name!
Close to Cirkewwa, this tiny sandy beach is relatively isolated.
However, the bay is well equipped with various facilities.
During the week, Paradise Bay can be quite secluded.
It is generally more popular with the younger crowd and beach parties are sometimes held here during the weekend.
Why not join the locals on a beach party? If you love a good party, then this should definitely be an item on your Things to Do in Malta list that needs to be checked!
Set in a natural cove, and having crystal clear waters and white sands, this sandy Maltese beach is the typical Mediterranean beach.
The beach also offers some excellent snorkeling opportunities. A small bar on the beach serves snacks and drinks. Perfect!
To get to the bay, you will need to go down quite a few steps, and they are somewhat steep too ... but your reward will be great!
At the top of the bay, there’s a car park. If you’re planning on getting to Paradise Bay by bus, you have to stop at Cirkewwa and walk. It’s a 1 km walk from the bus stop in Cirkewwa to the bay.
Why not stay in a hotel where you can enjoy fantastic distant views of this charming little beach?
The Paradise Bay Resort Hotel is an affordable hotel which enjoys stunning views of Gozo and Comino and the gorgeous Paradise Bay.
Paradise Bay Hotel - Great views and ideal if you'd like to stay somewhere which is somewhat "cut off" from the rest of the island!
Very popular with visitors and locals alike, this hotel is well furnished and offers a friendly atmosphere.
The hotel is well connected to the rest of the island (a bus service operates from just outside the hotel) but is quite isolated at the same time. Just the right hotel if you’re looking for a somewhat “secluded” location in the Cirkewwa - Mellieha area.
Another advantage of this hotel is that it is situated literally a stone’s throw away from the Gozo Ferry Service, making it the ideal hotel if you plan to explore Gozo as well while on your Malta holidays.
