It's held annually towards the end of September. If you’re an aviation enthusiast, then you really can’t miss it! Preparation for the airshow at Luqa Airport starts from months before. This ensures that on the days of the big event, everything runs smoothly.
In the morning, you can feast your eyes on a static aviation display at the Malta International Airport, Luqa featuring various types of aircraft. Pilots and aircrew are usually standing by their aircrafts and you can ask them questions and even get a tour around the planes. If at some point you feel peckish, then you can make your way to the food stalls. Early in the afternoon, the much awaited spectacular aerial display starts!
At the end of the show, visitors are always ecstatic that they got to see what man and machine can do together. Even hours after the show ends, people are usually still raving about it. This year, the airshow is going to be held on the 25th and 26th of September 2010. For more information on the Malta Air Show, visit: www.maltairshow.com
