The museum is a definite must see for aviation enthusiasts.

In fact, many such visitors comment that the museum was one of the highlights of their visit to the Maltese Islands.

Just 200 metres away from the interesting Crafts Village, Malta’s aviation museum boasts an excellent collection of aircraft engines, uniforms and models. There's also a lot of memorabilia for you to enjoy.

During your visit you will also get a chance to see members of the museum restoring various old aircraft to their former glory.

The collection of the museum is on an ongoing expansion and die-hard aviation enthusiasts often come back to Malta after a couple of years to see the latest additions to the museum’s collection.

What’s perhaps often surprising to visitors is the fact that this excellent museum is run by a non-profit organization.

The aircraft and other exhibits are housed in two long Romney huts and a hangar.

Dedicated museum members are always present and enthusiastically reply to queries from visitors.

Some of the aircraft which you will see in this museum include a Spitfire IX, a Hurricane, Tiger Moth, 2 DC3 Dakotas, Vampire, Sea Venom, Sea Hawk, Swordfish and a Beech 18.

You can also see some vehicles, motorcycles and Malta aviation memorabilia.

Definitely one of the most enthusiastically run museums in Malta!
